Award-winning Monday & Wednesday comedy
Our Monday and Wednesday shows together have been voted London's best open mic comedy night at the Chortle Awards three years in a row (2023, 2024, 2025, 2026). Running two award-winning open mic nights a week is something we're genuinely proud of.
Who performs at our Monday and wednesday nights?
A real mix. You'll typically see around 8-10 acts in a 90-minute show. Some are established circuit comedians testing new material. Some are newer acts building their first tight 5 minutes. Occasionally, a well-known name drops in unannounced to try something out.

Is Monday & Wednesday comedy really free?

Yes - we recommend booking a seat in advance but entry doesn't cost anything. if you'd like, at the end of the night you can make a donation to support the night.

What time does it start?
7:30pm, doors at 7pm.
Can I perform?
Yes - Monday is one of the best open mic nights in London for new comics. Join our Facebook group for the latest booking info.

What's the difference between Monday and Wednesday?
Honestly, not much - both are free open mic nights in the same room. Line-ups are always fresh and change week-to-week.

Who performs at our Friday pro comedy shows?
​
Our Friday shows showcase the best of Comedy Bandits - our "Most Wanted" acts. Our line-ups feature pro level club comics, award winning performers, and as-seen-on-TV acts. Comics who have performed with us in the past include Rhys James, Helen Bauer, Sam Campbell, Sarah Keyworth, Sean McLoughlin, Grace Campbell, Ali Woods, and more.

What time does the show start?
Most Friday shows start at 8pm with doors at 7:30pm - check your ticket for the exact time.
How long is the show?
Around 90 minutes including a short interval.
Is food available?
The Railway Clapham serves food before the show - it's worth booking a table downstairs.
Is it suitable for groups?
Absolutely. Drop us a message if you're coming as a group of 8 or more and we'll help with seating.
Can I buy tickets on the door?
Yes, but since our Friday shows often sell out, we strongly recommend booking in advance.​
